The Itinerary is Posted!!!

I have tried to accomodate as many of your requests (from this web site, email, and other forums I’m on) and I have created a very scenic route with quite a few stops and photo opportunities. Rather than try to squash all of that info into blog format, you can view it in all of its glory by clicking here.

Where do *you* want to see the Atom Across America?

I’m starting to put together the route and schedule for the trip. The trip will run from August 1st to the beginning of September, starting at Brammo in Ashland, OR and ending in New York, NY. There will be definitely be stops (of more than a day) in northern and southern California, Colorado, Illinois, and New York. Other likely stops will be in Arizona and New Mexico. I’ll also be passing through lots of other places and can pause for an hour or three.

Post a comment here if you want to suggest a place for me to pause or stop near you.

Please note – even after I post the schedule and route, it will be subject to change due to weather, issues with the vehicle, or other reasons. I’ll keep the schedule updated to the best of my ability while I’m on the road, and I will also post a dedicated phone number to check the for the latest info updates.

Assembly has started!

Brian sent me these pictures today, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you!

Brian from Brammo emailed me today with these pictures of my chassis as it returned from powdercoating. Assembly of the car won’t start until the new facility is open (mine will be one of the first cars from there), however.

I’ve received the color samples for my custom colors. The body is “Wildberry Metallic” as used on my 1995 Eagle Talon, and the chassis metal is “Lounge Gray“, which is a dark gray. Here’s a picture of the samples (note that the colored dots on the metal piece are an artifact of the camera).
